Had
a fairly ordinary ride today for part of the way but other parts were very
nice. Saw the snow on the mountains in Switzerland. Went through Austria but
didn’t see much at all. It was very busy on the bike path as it was a Sunday.
There were a lot of sailing boats and other watercraft on the lake. Also fairs
and festivals along the way. I tried a couple of hotels but they were too
expensive or too noisy. We finally found a lovely B&B at Kesswil, got a
room in the attic with a window overlooking the lake and farmland. €33.50 each.
