Day 12: Mon 27 Jun – Basel to Waldshut (Germany)

Ride: 66km
15 to 35 deg C

Got underway fairly early, but not too rushed. We had mornos near the Bad Sackingen Grand Church. Then cycled right next to the river along mainly smooth gravel. Lunch (pinched from brekky) was had near some rocks in the river and Graham had a swim. Not me too cold!  We overnighted in a caravan park in a nice four-bunk room overlooking the river for €24/night for B&B. Had very tasty salmon pasta diner followed by a walk to Waldshut (Valdshut). It was a very hot and sticky night. Took some photos on the Rhine at sunset.
