A great day’s ride through some very interesting German
and Swiss farmlands and villages. We had lunch (just bread and fruit that we
purchased) at a tiny Church for travellers beside the path. After lunch we visited the Rhine Falls and
then onto Schaffhausen where we had problems getting accommodation. Eventually
got a twin room in the centre of town for CHF50 each. After dinner, we walked along the Rhine and
then up to a castle. It was very noisy outside our room till late due to the
drinkers.
